AgriNode is a smart agriculture initiative by Atlantis Nodes that combines mobile technology, connected sensors, and AI-supported insights to help farmers better understand and manage their farms. The platform is designed to support crop farming, livestock management, and data-driven agricultural decision-making.
By connecting farm-installed IoT devices to a mobile application, AgriNode helps farmers access important information about farm conditions and explore practical ways to improve their farming practices.
The Challenge
Farmers face various challenges, including changing weather conditions, soil moisture fluctuations, crop management decisions, and the difficulty of monitoring farm conditions consistently. Traditional farming methods may rely heavily on manual observation and experience, making it difficult to access timely data for informed decisions.
Additionally, farmers may lack convenient access to relevant agricultural guidance when deciding what to plant, when to irrigate, or how to manage livestock. These challenges create a need for accessible technology that connects farm data with practical insights.
What did
Atlantis Nodes Do?
Atlantis Nodes developed AgriNode as a technology-driven approach to addressing these challenges through connected devices and mobile software.
The platform enables farmers to monitor farm conditions using IoT sensors that collect information such as soil moisture and pH levels. Through the mobile application, users can access available farm data and use AI-supported features to explore agricultural recommendations based on collected information and general farming guidance.
AgriNode also incorporates weather information, historical farm data, and notifications to help farmers stay informed about changing conditions. For supported equipment, the platform enables users to remotely operate irrigation pumps and schedule operating times through the app.
By bringing together mobile technology, IoT monitoring, and AI-supported insights, AgriNode aims to help farmers make more informed decisions, manage resources more effectively, and work towards more productive and sustainable farming practices.
